The complete service you need and deserve

  1. Free one hour face to face interview We offer you a free one hour face to face interview – not just a phone call to an advisor at a call centre. This will enable us to see your injuries, the affect that they have on your health, finances and social life. We are then in the best possible position to judge the merits of your case and provide the best advice. There is no obligation to use our services
  2. No win, No fee We can offer you a full range of funding options including “No win, No fee”. You do not have to pay any upfront costs and there is nothing to pay should you lose the case. Please click here to view all the methods of funding available to you.
  3. No hidden costs or extra fees We will explain everything in detail so you know exactly what your costs are likely to be before you decide whether to instruct Thomas Dunton.
  4. Maximum compensation We will strive to achieve the maximum compensation for your injuries. Did you know that accident victims who turn down an insurer’s initial offer and seek legal advice get on average 2 – 3 times more compensation? (Source: The Law Society 2013).
  5. Specialist Personal Injury TeamWe have a specialist team headed by Robert Sardo who, with over 20 years experience, has Senior Litigator Approved Status with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is an Approved Member of the Law Society’s Specialist Personal Injury Panel.
  6. Qualified lawyer When you speak to us you will be talking to a qualified personal injury lawyer, not a legal advisor at a call centre.
  7. Home & Hospital appointments Should you be unable to attend our offices, we will be pleased to meet you at your home or hospital.
  8. Rehabilitation Something many others overlook but vitally important. Apart from striving for the maximum compensation, we will be actively pursuing the defendant to fund additional medical treatment to enable you to get back to full health as quickly as possible. As a local solicitor we will be familiar with local services such as Osteopathy, Physiotherapy etc.
  9. 24 hours ResponseWe will respond to your enquiry within 24 hours. It is important for your peace of mind that you know someone qualified is looking into your case.
  10. Established almost 40 years We have been representing clients with personal injuries, ranging from broken limbs to severe brain injuries, within Kent and S E London for almost 40  years. We are local, professional and trusted.

Compensation and Rehabilitation

A serious injury can mean lengthy periods off work, financial problems, extra work and stress for your family and possible psychological issues for the injured person.
Whilst money cannot change what has happened, it can help you to deal with the consequences.

Sometimes payments have to be made for earlier treatment, to ensure your return to full health or that you have everything you require to give you the best quality of life that the circumstances allow.

Thomas Dunton have been helping people for nearly 40 years to claim fair compensation for their personal injuries, ranging from the results of a broken ankle to serious brain damage.

Why a lawyer is so important

A road accident
Roger, a motorcyclist, suffered serious leg injuries when he was hit by a vehicle undertaking a U-turn rather than to wait in a queue of traffic. The insurer was persuaded to fund private medical treatment so that he could undergo early surgical intervention enabling him to return to his job prior to his employment status being threatened.
Clinical negligence
Jo could not return to her original occupation as a secretary when she suffered hand injuries as a result of an operation which went wrong. An early upfront part-payment of her eventual damages was obtained to avoid her home being repossessed by the bank through mortgage default.
An accident abroad
Michael endured serious scarring and psychiatric insult when he was the victim of an accident whilst on holiday in Spain. Early intervention from a plastic surgeon was arranged as well as counselling to enable early recovery and better long term prospects.

Serving our clients

For almost 40 years, we have aspired to provide the highest possible service for our clients.

We aim to provide them with the very best legal advice and to explain, encourage and achieve their expectations.

To these ends, we have achieved Lexcel status, which is the Law Society’s quality mark for excellence in legal practice management and excellence in legal client care. Since it was introduced, little more than 10% of solicitors in the UK have achieved this distinction. In addition to Lexcel, we also have eight Law Society accreditations.

Lexcel appraisal — our last report said “Thomas Dunton Solicitors is a well run practice with highly motivated staff members who take great pride in their work and in providing high levels of client care. Simply outstanding”.
