The European Arrest Warrant

Theresa May has warned that Britain’s cities will become a “safe havens for European criminals” without the European Arrest Warrant (EAW). The Home Office said more than 2,500 serious international criminals like murderers, paedophiles, human traffickers and terrorists had been extradited under the warrant and that the lives of law abiding citizens would be put at risk if MPs rebelled against remaining part of the EAW.
