Bridesmaid who was left paralysed sues Spanish holiday resort for £9million

A lady, who was left quadriplegic after being injured by a wave machine while on holiday, is suing the holiday resort where the incident reportedly happened.

The lady was knocked from a rubber ring that she was sitting in, when the wave machine was switched on. She was subsequently paralysed from the chest down and required an air ambulance to lift her back to the UK for medical treatment.

The British High Court has given her permission to launch a legal bid for compensation.
